The Kaminski Family has called Poway home since June was called Miss June by her daddy and she not only developed a love of savory BBQ from him but southern manners and hospitality as well. His father, Stanley, owned a butcher shop and grocery store where he made fresh smoked sausage as well as delicious ribs and brisket. It was in his fathers butcher shop where Stan learned the secret to savory BBQ.
Marsha Kaminski grew up in the restaurant business, and from the time she was in the first grade she helped the family run the restaurant. The Mine Co offered ribs, steaks and spirits with lots of good times and memories. They served North Carolina pulled pork, ribs and steaks until when Stan and June decided to retire. The business was sold but the Kaminskis retained the property. In a terrible fire destroyed the building.
Stan and June, along with daughter Marsha decided to rebuild. These wings are huge!! They look like Pterodactyl wings! First we smoke our wings with hickory wood, then we fry them up crispy and toss them in our buffalo sauce.
